Dr. Anthony Albers

Dr. Anthony Albers is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacements, including partial knee replacements and robotic knee replacements, in Montreal, Quebec. He is the Director of Orthopedic Research at St. Mary’s Hospital, while being the Assistant Program Director for McGill’s Orthopedic Surgery Residency program. Dr. Albers is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at McGill University. As a leader in the field, he has published research and has lectured at the international level.

Dr. Albers completed his orthopedic surgery residency at McGill University in 2015. He later completed a Fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the University of British Columbia.

He won numerous esteemed awards in teaching and patient care. These include the McGill Division of Orthopedic Surgery Educator Award, Harvey H. Sigman Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award, and the Robert Turcotte Compassionate Clinical Care Award.
