Dr. Bashar Alolabi is an Orthopedic Surgeon with a subspecialty fellowship training in upper and lower extremity trauma, shoulder sports injuries and joint replacements. He currently works at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. He completed a Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and was part of a team of consultants for the Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers. He also completed a Trauma and Lower Extremity Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Toronto, Sunnybrook Health Science Center. Dr. Alolabi obtained his Masters of Science Degree in Medical Biophysics from Western University. His research focuses on the biomechanics and clinical outcomes of shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Alolabi has given numerous talks at national and international conferences and has contributed a number of orthopedic publications and book chapters. He has received several national and international awards recognizing his research.
Dr. AlOlabi has more than 15 years of experience in the orthopedic surgery field. He completed his MD in 2007 from McMaster University and did a fellowship in elbow and shoulder surgery from the Cleveland Clinic in 2013. To polish his skills further, Dr. AlOlabi also completed a fellowship in trauma and joint arthroplasty from the University of Toronto in 2014.
